L’angelo Vitale

L’angelo Vitale
(à Vincenza)

From a knight’s stronghold, seeking no fame
A missing wings angel came
To save the insane - Vincenza’s her name

BULA:

I apologize for the simple, innocent, naive writing. English is not my native language and this little poem, this homage, is also an experiment as well as almost of my other attempts on writing.  That does not matter, what matters is to honor that person; this angel without wings.

Heiress of noble origins, the Templar knight’s blood runs in her veins. Coming from the Mediterranean, this angel flew over Lucera, Forge, Calice, Savona, traveled  to the four corners of the world, and finally, crossing overseas, landed on the desert. Such a curious and hostile place for an angel to be, but this angel knew where she had to accomplish her mission. And that is what this angel has been done for years, quietly, seeking no fame, helping the insane.

Vincenza, my dearest friend, thanks for helping us all, we’ll always [quietly] honor your name.

With love,

F.
